BILL BLASS Vintage 90s Demi-Couture Charcoal Gray Wool Walking Coat SZ 6 NWOT
This handsome demi-couture walking coat, or stroller, is from eminent American designer, Bill Blass. The coat has a very big windowpane plaid pattern in a double-breasted style (not function) with besom pockets and a hand-stitched lining, and dropped shoulders without shoulder pads. Based on the UNITE union label in the coat, we can date its manufacture to between 1995 and 2005. In addition to the designer label, there is also a Saks Fifth Ave label in the coat. The shell fabric is wool, and the whimsical dotted lining is also wool; the sleeves are lined in hand-sewn black silk charmeuse. Labeled size 6; seems to run true to size considering the extra room that coats need to wear over other clothes. Please refer to the measurements for the best guidance regarding actual size and compare with a similar garment that fits you.*

MEASUREMENTS
- Dropped shoulder width is 20"
- Underarm chest measurement is 41"
- Waist and hips are also 41-42"
- Sleeve length is 21.5" plus more from dropped shoulders.
- Length is 33" down center back excluding collar.

CONDITION
New without tags in excellent condition with no apparent flaws.
